Summary
The paper deals with the effect of preparation Ukrain on viability of synchronized malignant cells to determine the sites most sensitive to the preparation in the mitotic cycle. The ascitic strains of Ehrlich carcinoma and lympholeukemia P-388 were employed. The separation of cells by the mitotic cycle phases was carried out by the sedimentation method within the sucrose gradient and the estimation of viability was performed using trypan blue by kinetics of dye absorption by certain cells. It has been established that sensitivity of tumour cells depends to a considerable extent on the position of cells in the mitotic cycle. Sensitivity is of distinct bimodal character. The first maximum of sensitivity is either at the end of the G1 phase or at the stage of cell transition towards the synthesis of DNA, while the second one is in the G2-period. So, preparation Ukrain may be referred to the cycle-dependent antitumoural preparations.
